Audience feedback on Magazine Articles

This is a pie chart representing the percentages of people who preferred either idea 1 or idea 2 of my magazine articles. As you can tell there is a considerable amount of people who preferred idea 1 to idea 2 and below is a list of reasons as to why or why not.
What people said about the magazine ideas:

-Idea 2 has too much white space.
-Idea 2 is boring compared to the wacky background of idea 1.
-Idea 1's complexity is interesting with the logo for the background.
-The use of a photo is interesting in idea 2, however is not as interesting in the fact that idea 1 is more complex and contains more text.
-The use of the logo is makes it easier for fans to relate to the band.
-By giving the twitter name allows fans to interact with the band, especially as the target audience is teenagers and young adults,
-The background of idea 1 is a bit too complex and without explanation would cause confusion as new fans or people who didn't know who the band was, wouldn't understand; a photo is more understandable for all.
-The photo planned to be used is much more eye catching due to the editing of it so the the simplicity of it all compliments the photo and focuses on that, relating the photo to the band.
-Idea 1 is much more interesting in that there is a lot more text and information.
-Idea 2 is too simplistic.
